First Baptist Children’s Center is dedicated to providing a secure and enjoyable learning environment for your child!
We offer day care for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old and have a long-standing, well-trained, and experienced staff that will provide the finest care for your child.
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Here at First Baptist Children's Center we offer a variety of programs for children of all ages. Children as young as 6 weeks can be enrolled in our Infants Program and can continue up through the classes to our after school program. Our focus is preparing your child for the academic and social situations they will face at school and every day life while also teaching them abut God's love.
At FBCC we understand that a child’s education begins with their experiences and
stimulation they receive as an infant. Our caring teachers read, sing, and play music
while making sure all needs are met. Children get plenty of tummy time, as well as blocks
and toys that help develop fine motor skills.

Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive,
language, social and motor skill development. At FBCC we strive to develop
these skills through individual attention while encouraging the value of sharing
and cooperating through group play. Children at this stage start to develop
friendships and gain confidence as they learn new words and our teachers
make sure to help each student learn at least five new phrases each month.

The program at FBCC emphasizes the development of the whole
child: focusing on academic fundamentals and social skills while
following a Bible based curriculum. Our caring teachers keep small
hands busy and young minds engaged through activities designed
specifically for this age group. Your child will build skills and
confidence through games, songs, movement and art. We ensure that
your child develops at his or her own pace, including beginning toilet training.

Children are encouraged to expand their curiosity and development through
language arts, music, fine and gross motor skills, art and outdoor play.
Children attend chapel each Monday where an awareness of God’s love for
each child is fostered through bible stories, songs, and verses.

Our early learning preschool provides a learning environment for young children
that support their overall development and readiness for school and allows each
child to progress at his/her own rate towards phonics skills and reading. We
aspire to help children develop a positive attitude toward school and learning;
develop a sense of high self-esteem; foster an abiding curiosity for their world;
learn inner discipline and a sense of order; develop socially acceptable behavior;
and learn to respect those in authority, peers, and self.
